Achievement team

The student achievement team are managed by the Achievement Manager, Alexandra Banks, who works with the Student Achievement Officer’s (SAO’s) to improve student retention and achievement. This is done through a programme of interventions that proactively contact students providing tailored information, advice and guidance that promotes and enhances engagement with their studies.

The team works collaboratively with staff across the University to facilitate their programme of initiatives every year, the impact is measured and then used to inform any developments for the following year. In addition to this the team is currently part of a working group developing the University’s predictive analytics capability.

To find out more about any of the projects running this year please contact student.achievement@solent.ac.uk.
