Any student who has a general enquiry can get help from the Mountbatten Informaiton Point in the library foyer. Please also ask for help if you have any problems using the library catalogue or getting books from the shelves.
Help is also available during core hours, Mondays to Fridays from our staff who will be providing "roving" support around the library building. You can identify them from their staff badge and the "Here to Help" branded iPad they will be carrying.
Please show staff your blue card so that they can ensure you get appropriate help and support.
Apart from face to face help you can also seek help through our Solent Library chat service. You can access this service from the library home page or through our enquiry hub page. This page also provides a link to our frequently asked questions section.
To find out what library related support can be provided through Access Solent please visit their library support page.
If you need more in-depth help with using specific library resources or searching for information, then please get in touch with your information librarian. You can find details of the librarian for your subject area at information librarians by subject area
