Legal referencing

The Law School does not use the standard University Harvard system for referencing. It uses OSCOLA.

OSCOLA is the Oxford University Standard for Citation of Legal Authorities and is edited by the Oxford Law Faculty.

If you are studying for an LLB use this factsheet:

If you are studying law as part of another course, and not on the LLB, check with your lecturer whether Harvard or OSCOLA is required.
