Solent Guest wireless services

StudentComAccessing Solent Guest.

In June 2018 we changed our guest Wi-Fi provision.

The new system is easier to connect to, meaning guests on campus will have a hassle-free experience of connecting their devices. The new network will retain the Solent Guest name and users connecting to this network will be prompted to register and log in.

SolentGuest3This change only affects the Solent Guest network intended for external visitors. Staff and students should still connect to SolentNet which is faster and more resilient and can handle higher user numbers.

Instructions on signing up to the guest wi-fi can be obtained by contacting the Conference Centre on 023 8201 5757 or via email on Any support queries should be directed to the vendor, CableCom, using the details on the sign-up page.
