Solent Futures and Solent International Support have teamed up to talk to you about the Job and Placement Fair.  This will include information on working restrictions during and after your course.

Come along to this session on 14 October to hear top tips and advice on how to get the most out of the fair taking place on Thursday 24 October.

We will be covering:

  • How to prepare for the event – using Solent Futures Online and researching employers
  • How to present yourself – including what to wear
  • What you should bring to the fair
  • Preparing your CV and LinkedIn profile
  • How to approach employers to hear about their opportunities
  • Immigration permissions to be in the UK and corresponding working restrictions
  • Working during the course
  • Working after the course, options to consider
