Water - It's H2 Oh So Good for You
We need to drink enough water and fluids to help our bodies' cells to function properly and to enable the blood to carry nutrients and get rid of waste in the body. Water makes up about two-thirds of our body weight.
If your day includes hours of study, some sport or exercise and a night out you will need to keep your body fluids topped up or dehydration will decrease your concentration by 13%*, give you headaches and make you feel tired and lethargic.
Keep a bottle of water with you during the day and drink a glass with meals so you feel great and perform better in the classroom or sports field!
On a big night out have a go at interval drinking: a glass of water or a soft drink in between alcoholic ones so you can enjoy yourself while feeling good and looking great!
So make sure you sip your way to fabulous skin and a body that feels great by drinking six to eight glasses of water a day or more if you are exercising or partying
