Complaints procedure

We aim to provide a standard of service acceptable to all students. If we do not meet this standard we really would like to know about it, so that we can deal with this and take steps to avoid it happening again.

If you are in any way unhappy with our service you can express your views through a variety of channels, which are outlined below.

Because the counselling service works within the professional standards and guidelines of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) you may wish to use the complaints procedures outlined in the Ethical Framework for counselling and psychotherapy.
