What is a QR code?

A QR code is a barcode that can be scanned and read from a mobile phone mobile-catalogueand directs users to a particular website, e.g the code opposite takes you the mobile version of the library catalogue.

QR codes at the library

We are currently working on using QR codes to help you access a range of resources from your mobile. This includes links to mobile access for selected eresources, signs around the library and codes on books and journals where electronic versions can be accessed.

NOTE: QR codes work best on mobile phones with higher resolution cameras.
