Library on your Mobile
You can access the library wherever you are using your smartphone!
If you are on campus, connect to Solent wi-fi.
Most of the library pages are mobile friendly, including the Library Catalogue. Improvements to the mobile catalogue are being made all the time.
Several of our eResouces have versions which have been specially tailored for use on your iPhone/Blackberry/Android phone.
You can also renew your library books on your phone using the Library Loans web app.
If you are in the library, look out for QR codes offering quick access to helpful resources.
If you’re using an iPad, why not add the Library Portal to your Home Screen for easy access to all the Resources we have to offer for your research? To do this, open our page then tap the arrow in a box symbol next to the top URL line. Select “Add to Home Screen”. Edit the name of the Web Icon if you wish then tap the “Add” button.
