If an item you have borrowed from the library cannot be renewed, an email will be sent to your university account to let you know. Items must be returned by the date stated in the email to stop them going overdue.
An overdue notice will be sent by email and a block will be placed on your library account.
Having a block on your account prevents you from borrowing or renewing until the overdue item is returned (including laptops and some media production equipment).
Please take notice of any emails from the library. If you have lost an item (or think you may have left it in the library) you should let us know as soon as possible.
If items are not returned, further reminders and details of their replacement cost are sent to you by email. Your library account will continue to be blocked.
If items remain overdue you will receive an invoice from the University's Finance Service.
Please note: Failure to pay this invoice on time may result in additional charges being levied. Please refer to the debtor’s policy for further information.
