I will be available for any questions you may have about any legal issues and LexisNexis. Feel free to email me or access the LexisNexis pages on Facebook and twitter. The Facebook page is "LexisNexis Southampton Solent" and the twitter feed is "LexisNexis_SSU". I look forward to seeing you all soon."

Westlaw

The Westlaw Student Associate is Polly Wood:

"My name is Polly Wood and I am the current Westlaw student representative. During the year I'll be running weekly drop in sessions to answer any questions you may have about Westlaw. I will also be running sessions explaining how to use Westlaw and how to get the most out of the database. There will also be an opportunity to join in on certification sessions, which will give you the chance to obtain a qualification, these are different from the ones done in the Legal Context assignment and are easy to attain. They are perfect for anyone applying for work experience/ jobs in the future, as westlaw is used by 89% of law firms. I hope to see you all soon."

During term time, the Westlaw Student Associate will be in the Law Library at certain times to answer enquiries:

  • Tuesdays 12-1
  • Fridays 1-4
