Library opening times
When we are closed you can now get support from the out of hours IT and Library helpline.
The term-time hours are listed on this page. Vacation hours vary so please check for updated information on opening hours outside of term dates.
Bank Holiday Opening in May and June : please note the following hours apply:
Monday 7th May: 10am to 9pm
Monday 4th June: 10am to 5pm
Monday 5th June: 10am to 5pm
Please note that there will be limited staffing on these days so not all of our services will be available. Other facilities such as cafes will be closed on these days.

After 19:00 on weekdays and 17:00 at weekends, peer support will be available from our team of library student ambassadors - no library staff will be present. During these opening periods, when library staff are not present, you will need to present a valid campus card or another form of University ID to the security staff on duty in order to gain access to the building.

Please note that the entrance doors shut 10 minutes before closing time.

Please note that the main library desk will not be staffed after 21:00 during the extended hours and after 16:30 Friday. During these extended hours, however, there will be a library ambassador who will be able to provide you with peer support in using library facilities and resources.
NB: Five minutes before closing please ensure that all library transactions, printing, photocopying and computer are completed to guarantee that the library is empty and the doors locked by the displayed closing time.
