24/7 opening finishes on Friday 19 May 2017. The library will close at 11.45pm on this day.

Vacation opening hours will apply from Saturday 20 May. 2017.

Vacation opening hours

Full information on opening hours for vacation periods can be found on the portal and in the library shortly before each vacation.

Summer vacation opening hours

The library is usually open 8.30am – 7pm (Monday to Friday). Please check before travelling (especially during Christmas, Easter and Bank Holidays) as there are some days the library may be closed or have shorter hours.

Some weekend opening is usually offered during Christmas and Easter vacations. During the summer vacation the library may be closed at weekends.

Term-time opening arrangements

Term-time opening hours will resume on Monday 25 September 2017.

After 7pm on weekdays and 5pm at weekends, peer support will be available from our team of library student ambassadors - no library staff will be present.

Opening hours for individual enquiry desks

During the night the library will operate on a self-service basis only and will be supported by security staff. They will not be able to give you assistance in using the library resources and facilities.

Accessing the library

Our access policy is that campus cards are required by students and staff for entry to the library. Visitor access is still available but with valid photographic ID.
