Noticeboard

The noticeboard shows notices from students, for students. Your custom homepage starts with a noticeboard panel by default, at the bottom of which you will see a direct link. But its even easier to go through the Apps tab:

How to view the noticeboard

Step 1. Log in to the Portal. For help logging in, click here.

Step 2. The noticeboard can be found under the 'My Apps' tab.

Step 3. To view the noticeboard, click on the Noticeboard icon. this will then launch a new window containing a full listing of all notices.

 

Alternatively, you can scroll down from your home page after logging in, and find the Apps Dashboard, which contains a widget for the noticeboard. The dashboard is completely customiseable, so if you find you don't like the layout you can move things around, add new widgets, or remove them from the panel altogether.

 

How to add a notice to the noticeboard

Step 1. Once you have clicked on 'Go to noticeboard' in the dashboard, or the noticeboard icon in the apps tab, you will see a list of all the notices. By clicking on 'My Notices' you can also view a list of notices that you have previously created. This page also gives you the option to edit and delete your notices.

 
 

Step 2. Fill in the notice title, notice details and choose a category. Once you are happy with these details, click on the 'Submit notice' button at the bottom.
