Solent Graduate Jobs screenshotCurrent Solent students and recent graduates will find great opportunities from employers. Graduate jobs, internships, placements, work experience, volunteering and jobs on campus are all advertised in one place. These opportunities will be local, national and international.

Some vacancies are exclusively for Solent students and graduates, don’t miss out.

Employers have to comply with the Solent Graduate Jobs vacancy policy.

Registering

Signing up is quick and easy. You just need to select your school of study and year of graduation to sign up for email alerts and to apply for jobs.

You can also upload a CV to the CV bank.

Job alerts and searches

You will be able to narrow or widen your search by setting preferences.

You will only receive emails when relevant jobs become available and you can cancel alerts at any time.

School specific vacancies

Are you interested in opportunities that are targeted at your school? We have a widget that can sit on your Solent Online Learning unit pages to let you search for relevant opportunities.

If your unit page doesn’t have this, ask your lecturer to get in touch with us at employers@solent.ac.uk.

We strongly recommend that you register with Solent Graduate Jobs, as many of its jobs are exclusive to Solent graduates and won't be advertised anywhere else. But don't limit yourself to any one website, or even one method of application.

Remember the following points, which are explained in detail in the careers section of the portal:

  • Use websites like ratemyplacement or targetjobs, which allow you to search by sector for work experience, placements and graduate jobs.
  • Grow your network by using personal contacts and social media. A good LinkedIn profile can get job opportunities delivered to your email inbox.
  • Consider making your own job - start your own business or work as a freelancer.
  • Come and see us at the Solent Futures Centre (RM001) for even more ideas.
