Sports Coaching in the Community (CPU112)
This unit provides you with an overview of coaching and the opportunity to use your coaching skills to help the local community.
If you don’t have a suitable approved coaching qualification, you will be eligible to take a coaching qualification, free of charge.
Once you have qualified, you can put all your new skills into practice in the community. You will be assessed on a portfolio comprising of a learning log, reflective statement and evidence including coaching lesson plans.
Requirements
You have to do at least 10 hours of work on your placement and take a coaching award
Assessment
This consists of a portfolio including a learning log, reflective statement and supporting evidence.
