Report a crime

Have you been a victim or witness of crime?

Being a victim of, or a witness to, a crime can be very upsetting, and may have an impact on your wellbeing, your living situation, and your studies.

If you have been a victim of, or a witness to, a crime and would like to talk to someone in person about what has happened, you can contact the following support services within the University:

Students 1st team within the Student Hub

Students' Union Advice Centre

Solent Owls

Southampton Solent University, along with other agencies in the City, have developed Solent Owls; a central place for you to find tips and advice on staying safe, information about crime, and details of the various support agenices within the local area.

Reporting a crime

If there is an immediate risk of danger, call 999.

To report a crime which is a non-emergency, call 101.
